Mobile Device Application Development
I have recently completed the development of a hybrid app for mobile devices. I was asked to create a mobile device application that targets a segment of the CSULB population that struggles with obtaining nurishment on a daily basis. This application will notify students of any food left over from events, meetings, or other gatherings on campus. This was my first endeavor into application development for mobile devices and I learned a great deal about packaging an app for deployment on the various platform stores. I had to shift my thinking a bit to code for mobile as the real estate constrictions posed additional challenges for me. I plan on doing more with mobile development in an effort to communicate better with students who rely heavily on their mobile devices for staying connected.
